Bradenton Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run

Police are actively seeking perpetrators in a deadly hit-and-run incident that took place in Bradenton.

Witness statements have indicated the hit and run happened as an adult male attempted to cross 30th Avenue East near the intersection of 11th Street Court East at roughly quarter after eleven in the morning.

As the man tried to walk across the road, a White Ford Crown Victoria slammed into him. The impact threw the man onto the car where he slid off and fell onto the pavement.

After the impact the full-sized domestic sedan continued on and fled the scene.

The pedestrian died from his injuries and has not yet been identified by authorities.

Florida Highway Patrol has asked anyone with knowledge of the deadly crash to contact them at (239) 938-1800.
