8 Year Old Boy Injured By Hit And Run Driver In Bradenton
Early Tuesday in Bradenton an 8-year old boy was left in serious condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol the accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. on 4th St. Terrance Gordon was seriously injured from the incident and transported to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
Gordon was struck by a vehicle while heading westbound on 26th Ave. East resulting in the boy being caught in the undercarriage of the vehicle, after which the passenger of the vehicle exited the vehicle and removed Gordon, and his wrecked scooter from under the car. The passenger and driver, an older women, then sped away from the scene southbound on 3rd Street East.
The vehicle that struck Terrance Gordon was described as an older model maroon Ford with damage to the right front.
