Pickup Trucks Collide In Sarasota I-75 Crash Injuring Two
Florida Highway patrol reported an accident resulting in injuries occurred near milepost 210 on I-75 Saturday evening. The accident resulted in two women being injured one of which was in serious condition.
The accident occurred when the driver of a 1998 GMC pickup truck, driven by Christina Malloy, 33, of Myakka City, was entering the highway from the northbound entrance ramp and the vehicle began to spin.
Also involved in the accident, Jared Ziegler, 26, of Cape Coral was heading north in the left lane. After the collision, Ziegler’s vehicle came to rest in the left lane. Driver Christina Malloy sustained minor injuries was taken to Doctors Hospital in Sarasota , Malloy’s passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to Blake Medical Center.
Neither Mr. Zigler or his passenger were injured in the accident. The FHP also said everyone was wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor.
