Car Crash On Interstate 75 Seriously Injurs Bradenton Man

An early morning accident on I-75 near Jacaranda Boulevard exit. has left a Bradenton man in critical condition.

The accident victim, Lorne Peluso, 58 of Bradenton was airlifted by paramedics to Blake Medical Center.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol the accident was a result of a tire blowout. Peluso was traveling southbound on I-75 towing a trailer with a F-350 Ford pickup truck. The right rear tire blew out and caused Peluso to lose control, rolling several times and finally coming to a stop on the shoulder with the trailer.

Additionally two passengers, Roberto Jimenez, 28,  and  Salvador Jimenez, 40, both of Sarasota, suffered minor injuries and a third passenger escaped unharmed
