Single Vehicle Car Accident Kills Sarasota man

A single vehicle accident at Higel Avenue and Little Pond Lane in Sarasota  killed a Sarasota man Wed. around 11 a.m.

FHP said the accident happened when the driver of a 2005 Taurus, Raymond Kow of Sarasota was heading west on Little Pond Rd and had an undisclosed medical emergency. The nature of his medical problem caused him to lose control of his vehicle and run through the intersection striking a fence before coming to a stop. Officials pronounced Kow dead at the accident scene.
