Bradenton Pedestrian Hit By Car Dies

Florida Highway Patrol reported that a pedestrian who was struck by a car at the intersection of 30th Ave. East and U.S. 301 has died.

The victim, Lowsandra  Seabrooks, 38 of Bradenton was crossing the road outside of any marked crosswalk when she apparently stepping to the lane of an oncoming car and was hit.

The accident occurred just after 9:00 and the driver of the vehicle, Brian Brownsell, 60, of South Pasadena  was heading southbound in a Cadillac Fleetwood when Seabrooks stepping into their path.

Seabrooks was hit by the right front of the vehicle and died from trauma at the scene.
