Mantee County Crashes Kill 4 In 24-hour Span
Florida Highway Patrol states a car crash killed two people near Bradenton brought the number of people killed in traffic accidents to 4 in just a 24 hour time span.
The fatal crash occurred on U.S. 1 and resulted in Flaviano Avalos, 63 and Claudia Avalos, 55 dying from injures sustained in the car accident in Manatee County.
The accident was apparently the result of failing to stop at a stop sign. Avalos was driving east in a pickup truck when after failing to stop at a stop sign, they were struck by another pickup truck at the intersection. The driver of the second vehicle incurred only minor injuries.
