High-Speed Crash Kills 1 Injurs 2 In Bradenton

FHP reported an early morning high-speed crash resulted in two critically injured passengers and the death of the driver Thursday.

Apparently the car, a 1972 Chevy Nova was traveling at high speed on 34th Street W. in the 4900 block when the driver lost control. The Nova crashed into a telephone pole and a car parked in a driveway, causing it to land overturned in the yard of the parked car.

The driver of the Chevy Nova, Darian T. Everett from Bradenton was killed from the crash and his two passengers Mitchell Shreves 19 of Bradenton, and Stephanie Lanham 20 from Palmetto were taken to Blake Medical center critically injured.

Florida Highway Patrol said none of the cars occupants were wearing seat belts during the accident.
