Car Crash On Interstate 75 Kills 1 Injurs 3
A Nokomis Man was killed on I-75 and three others were when the 2002 Toyota Tundra they were riding in rolled over multiple times.
The deceased man, Mitchell Davis, 18 years old from Nokomis was also riding with Kyle Incrocci, a 17 year old high school student from Venice High School, Azalea Davis, 21, of Osprey and Sam Ball, 18, of Venice.
While the Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident some details have been released. For reasons unknown, after 10 p.m. at mile marker 201 Ball, the driver of the pickup lost control of the pickup truck. The truck swirved into the median roughly 4 miles south of the Clark Rd exit. Ball attempted to steer to pickup back onto the roadway apparently causing the truck to flip multiple times.
Mitchell Davis was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Azalea Davis was taken to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton in serious condition. Kyle Incrocci was transported to St. Petersburg’s Bayfront Medical Center and Sam Ball the driver of the pick up was taken to Sarasota memorial, suffering only minor injuries.
FHP has also stated that alcohol was not a factor in the accident
