Motorcycle Accident Kills Man From Myakka
Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man from Myakka City was killed in a motorcycle crash that took place Thursday afternoon.
The man apparently died on the way to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton. The accident occurred when Ernesto Bernal a 35 year old from Myakka City rode his Suzuki GS500E motorcycle north on Betts road past the intersection of Anson Acres Road when the driver of a 2000 Toyota Tacoma made a left turn directly in the path of Bernal’s motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the pickup truck mortally wounding Berna.
The driver of the Toyota pick up truck, who was attempting to turn into a driveway was charged with failing to yield the right of way and failing to produce proof of insurance.
