Jeep Rear Ends Manatee County School Bus
Florida Highway patrol reported a crash between a 1997 Jeep and a Manatee County School bus Thursday Morning.
The accident occurred after seven O’ clock on the 30th as the school bus which was stopped in traffic near the intersection of Natalie Way and SR 70 was rear-ended by the Jeep.
Apparently though the eighteen-year old driver of the jeep did apply the breaks to stop the SUV, the brakes failed to stop the Jeep before slamming into the school bus.
The bus was not filled with children and had just five passengers one of which was a minor.
No one was injured and no charges have been filed in the accident.
