Polk County Motorcycle Crash Kills Woman From Bradenton

A motorcycle accident in Haines City Florida was fatal for a Bradenton motorcdyclist.

Polk County Sheriffs Offfice reported a motorcycle accident at the exit ramp of U.S. 27 onto U.S. 192 in Haines City FL Saturaday.

Bradenton woman Georgene Rabren a 52 year-old was attempting to exit U.S. 27 from the southbounb lanes when she lost control of her Harley-Davidson motorcycle and went off the road. Rabren attempted to correct and steer back onto the road but was thrown from the bike. Her motorcycle continued on and came down onto Rabren.

Rabren had been riding with other motorcyclists at the time of the crash and they stopped to assist her. Rbren was taken to Heart of Florida Hospital where she died in treatment.

Sherrifs stated Rabren had been wearing a helmet during the accident.
