Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident Leaves Woman From Venice Injured
Florida Highway Patrol announced a hit and run accident that took place Sunday evening on Venice Boulevard.
The incident happened shortly after 10:00p.m. when forty six year old Dawn Hinton from Venice was walking in near the 300 Block on Venice Blvd, when she was hit by a car.
The force of the collision tossed Hinton the roadway were she came to rest in a seated position. Fortunately Hinton’s injuries were minor and she received treatment at Bayfront Medical Center.
The car that struck Hinton did not stop and left no tire marks at the scene. No description of the vehicle is available.
