Single Car Crash On Pinellas Bayway Kills One Injures Another
Officials are investigating the cause of a deadly single car crash that took place at the intersection of Sun Boulevard and the Pinellas Bayway.
The crash took place at roughly seven thirty in the evening and excessive speed is thought to be a factor.
The vehicle, a silver Corvette, was badly damaged with parts of the sports car dangling from a power line.
The crash forced the closure of the road and traffic had to be re-routed while emergency crews cleared the roadway.
One man in the Corvette died at the scene and another was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
