Single Car Crash In Lakewood Ranch Kills Sarasota Woman
Sarasota Police announced a woman was killed in a single car crash after loosing control of her vehicle.
The crash happened early Sunday Morning shortly after 1:30 a.m. as twenty three year old Carly Cogan was westbound on State Road 70. For reasons unknown as Cogan approached the east side of Lakewood Ranch Blvd., she lost control of her car swerving across the road and crashing into a cement power pole.
Cogan was pronounced dead by first responders at the scene of the crash.
