Fatal Palm Harbor Pedestrian Crash On U.S. 19

Authorities announced a as of yet unidentified man was killed after being struck by a car at night.

The accident took place in Palm Harbor as the victim, described as a forty two year old male from Tampa attempted to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 19 just prior to 10:00 p.m.

At the same time the man was trying to cross the road a 2013 Mazda being driven by Brandon Ford of Dunedin crashed into him.

As Ford had no time to react and the man was crossing outside of a crosswalk no charges have been filed. Neither the driver nor his passenger were harmed in the crash.
