Bradenton Ciclyst Dies From Accident Injuries
Bradenton Police are looking for information about the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a cyclist Tamiami Trail Tuesday morning.
The crash happened as forty-four year old Bradenton man Leroy Anderson was hit by a vehicle as he attempted to cross Tamiami Trail. The crash took place at roughly 8:00 in the morning when Anderson attempted to cross Tamiami trail south of the DeSoto bridge near First Street West.
First responders rushed Anderson to Blake Medical Center for emergency treatment where he died Thursday later that week.
In the aftermath of the crash traffic was blocked as investigators gathered information about the accident.
Traffic Homicide Investigator Master Patrol Officer Chris Hutchko from the Bradenton Police department is asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to call 941-932-9300.
