Four Die In Englewood Crash
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, an early morning accident in Englewood has killed four.
The report states that at roughly 3:30a.m. four people were eastbound in an Audi A4 sedan on Rosemonte Drive. As the car approached the intersection with Sunnybrook Blvd., the driver of the Audi did not come to a stop at the stop sign, instead they proceeded through the intersection without pause.
At the same time forty three year old Michael Holcomb and four passengers all of which were from Whitesburg Kentucky were driving north on Sunnybrook boulevard.
The northbound vehicle crashed into the Audi in the intersection. Shortly after the collision the Audi caught fire and flames overtook the vehicle quickly.
Authorities pronounced all four occupants within the Audi dead at the scene, while the driver and passengers of the second car only sustained minor injuries and were transported to Englewood Hospital for treatment.
