Two Injured Friday Night In Sugar Bowl Road Motorcycle Crash
A motorcycle accident in Mantee County was reported late Friday by the Florida Highway Patrol.
In the report, troopers from the FHP stated that the accident occurred as sixty four year old Roger Grapes from Gasport New Your was northbound on Sugar Bowl Road Friday evening.
As Grapes approached a curve on his Harley Davidson motorcycle with passenger, sixty four year old Ilene Grapes, he lost control and the motorcycle crashed into a guard rail.
After the impact both rider and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries.
FHP stated that both of the injured were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for medical treatment
