BRADENTON FLORIDA- Florida Highway Patrol has announced a person was critically injured by a Tractor Trailer on state road 64 early Monday morning.
The crash happened as the driver of the unknown tractor-trailer was westbound approaching the intersection of East Bay Drive.
At the same time, the 61-year-old male cyclist from Bradenton was traveling east along the northern sidewalk approaching the bridge of State Road 64.
At approximately 10:27 AM the cyclist fell off the bike and fell on the westbound lane of State Road 64 where the man hit the right rear of the Tractor Trailer. Afterward, the truck continued to travel westward along State Road 64.
The identities of both Driver and Cyclist remain unknown at this time.
The truck was described as an unknown color truck towing a red in a color forklift on the trailer.
